As the snow falls here on the streets of New York City, so too do the spring 2014 couture collections in Paris. Most notably for me this a.m. was waking up to images of Chanel. The pastel creations paired with sneakers, (tying back to my “Sneaking Away From Heels in 2014,”) were more than inspired. The collection was wearable, romantic, and dreamy, just enough to make one forget the snowfall. Xxx

I’m really in love with the Chanel Couture beauty looks for Spring. It was refreshing to see the cat-eye, a makeup trend thats been around forever, (and put on the maps most memorably by Bridget Bardot,) get a much needed update paired with the bottom- lid glitter liner! Try it on your own with this pick from Sephora!
In the sprit of the spring shows, here are some easy pastel looks from T by Alexander Wang available on shopbop.com, to update your wardrobe for the coming months. I love the idea of light pastels, paired with your favorite leather and biker boots or sneaks. It's instantly "model off duty," relaxed and effortlessly chic.

Today i'm headed to the Brooklyn Museum to see the much buzzed about Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit. For todays fit, I chose a colorful Marc Jacobs frock, paired it with a vintage Anna Sui long knit,American Apparel knee socks,H&M booties, and a Free People hat. I love playing with pops of color as the season gets colder #missingsummer xxx
