Menswear Inspired Staples

I’ve always been super inspired by menswear worn on woman. Although these Alexander Wang trousers are made for woman, they are inspired by a classic mens pant, & so too is this Pixie Market button-up, with exaggerated sleeves. NYC is warming up, and quickly, so this was such a comfortable Sunday outfit. I try and make a point to take myself out alone on Sundays, a cafe, museum, or even a long walk in Soho, it’s important to find time to be alone in the hustle and bustle of this busy city. Sunnier places are in my near future, and I can’t wait to share these travels with you all.

When I think of dreamy romantic clothing, I think Zimmerman. They are winning the hearts of fashion with their etherial dresses and fun Aussie spin! Think; modern day princess on a perfect warm getaway. I love this polka dot top via the Spring RTW 16 collection, (currently in stores & available online now). With a top so special, I let it speak alone with a simple pair of amazing denim.

Come Rain or Shine, I'm Staying Dry in the Perfect Statement Raincoat!

Here is the second of 7 Look-Books tracking my New York Fashion Week A/W 16-17 show style! 

I collaborated again this season with my favorite kicks brand, Converse, and trusted the ChuckII to keep my feet comfy and stylish running from show to show! 

Everyone has been asking who makes this amazing raincoat! The designer is a Japanese brand called, MUVIEL! I honestly could not think up a raincoat that I would love more! Anything clear and embellished has my name on it, and gives you the opportunity to wear it in so many ways with different pieces underneath!  I decided to dress it down with a pair of high-waisted RE/Done jeans, my all time favorite Converse ChuckII’s, and a Topshop Boutique orange cropped sweater, for the Coach show yesterday! (Follow me on IG @LatelyIveBeenMe to see more of my Fashion Week fun!)
