Here is the second of 7 Look-Books tracking my New York Fashion Week A/W 16-17 show style!
I collaborated again this season with my favorite kicks brand, Converse, and trusted the ChuckII to keep my feet comfy and stylish running from show to show!
Everyone has been asking who makes this amazing raincoat! The designer is a Japanese brand called, MUVIEL! I honestly could not think up a raincoat that I would love more! Anything clear and embellished has my name on it, and gives you the opportunity to wear it in so many ways with different pieces underneath! I decided to dress it down with a pair of high-waisted RE/Done jeans, my all time favorite Converse ChuckII’s, and a Topshop Boutique orange cropped sweater, for the Coach show yesterday! This NYFW SS16 has been go, go, go, that’s why I’m so happy to have partnered up with Converse this season, to help my tired feet out while running from show to show! I love sneakers so much, and I always love to look at the woman during the shows that are running place to place all decked out, but sporting kicks instead of heels. Were in NYC for christ sake, it’s hard enough in sneakers to get around! No fuss footwear leaves room to get even more decked out with the rest of the outfit, while still maintaining your downtown cool vibes. The first few days of FW started out raining, so it was awesome to be able to sport a Converse rubber red rain boot, while dodging millions of puddles on my way to the shows! (that post to come!)I I love Spring /Summer collections for the colors! Color is always something that gets me excited, it’s much harder to pair different colors and textures together, and takes a keen eye and true understanding of the pallet to do it right. I’ve been taking so many mental notes of pairings I can’t wait to try this spring! XXXC
