Sunday Moods
/From Bridget Bardot waves, to smoky lilac eyes, the SS15 runways are a glow with an inspiring vintage 60s revival, sure to reignite our love for clothes, and further inspire our ability to create looks. For me this season was monumental in re-inspiring my desire to pair patters, textures, and prints, and really push my own comfort dressing boundaries this spring. There is something so sexy about the 60s. It was not just a sexual revolution, but also a revolution for woman in general. We went from one pieces to bikinis, and were made more aware than ever the essence of glamour and feminine power. The collections were a reminder to keep it classy, and always pick just exactly where to show your skin. It was a pledge to take the extra step in makeup, with an almost undeniable message from designers, for woman to remember to dress ladylike. It’s the end of grunge, and the new beginning of the twenty- first century lady. My first stop, emerald green crush velvet pants suite, and the perfect leopard bootie.
